One look with Aaron - Portrait Photography
There is something so special about shooting just one look with someone. I’m not sure why I feel this way, but it might have something to do with the simplicity. By simplicity, I mean I use the same lighting and background for the entire shoot. When doing so, I don’t have to change anything during the shoot, and I can concentrate solely on my client.
For this session, Aaron always wore a green and black plaid shirt. For some of the shots, he also wore a black trucker jacket. The background of choice was a hand-painted canvas that complimented what he was wearing. We also added the black toque, which pulled everything else together.

What do I love most about Portrait Photography? Of course, I love the process, which is the actual shoot. But what rewards me the most is looking at the results. Creating a character portrait that instantly draws the viewer’s attention is definitely the icing on the cake.
