The Cutting Room Floor

During my headshot sessions, it’s common for me to shoot several hundred images for a single actor. Often, an actor might choose more than five images for their portfolio. Sometimes, an actor might only choose 1 or 2 images. Either way, I usually have many solid photos that never get used after all is said and done. These images typically never see the light of day, or I suppose it’s safe to say that no one ever sees these images except the actor and I. You know the saying, “They are on the cutting room floor.”

I recently decided to go back and visit some of the wonderful images from my sessions to breathe some new life into a few of them. I also decided to make these images mine, which means processed and edited the way I would love to see them. Looking forward, I expect this gallery to continue to grow.
